The Eagles have given unbeatable songs of the eighties and the best in them are the “HOTEL CALIFORNIA” song which was a very popular one at that time. The song of Hotel California was released in 1977 it was a huge hit and I had a chance of giving it hearing at my teens and I surrendered to it. This song has won a Grammy awards for the Eagles. This song was the topper at all the polls, this stood at the first place for a week in the billboard and it was even ranked higher in many music’s poll. For instance, the Rolling Stone magazine gave this song a nth place in the greatest song of all time and the Guitar Magazine has given a 8th rank to this song’s guitar solo in the Top 100 Guitar solos. This song clearly depicts the story of a traveler who gets trapped in a bloodcurdling lavish hotel which first appeared tempting and inviting. This song remains favorite for all from the mid 70’s to till now.
